He was the son of the late Johnny and Minerva Marcum Conn. Jack was a member and Deacon of the Mount Hope Freewill Baptist Church at Dingess. He was also a retired coal miner and a United States Marine Corps Veteran. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by One Brother: Henry Conn.
